Here’s the synopsis:

Migrations is a meditation on the changing face of human identity, as seen through the eyes of a Mali-born immigrant to Canada named Omar. When Omar immigrated to Montreal from his sandy hometown of Bamako, it was the first time he encountered snow! Since those days, he has become a key figure in a very vibrant, multi-ethnic community in Montreal, where he often assists new immigrants who are transitioning into a different way of life and and a new society.
